Help us stock the food pantry
We have been blessed to be a part of the food donations from Midwest Food bank! Every month, we receive a large amount of food and we need help unloading, dating, portioning and stocking. If you are available on Thursday, June 24th at 12:30 pm, we would love for you to stop by and give us a hand.
Also, if you or know someone who is in need of food assistance, please contact the church offices to see how to get connected with this wonderful ministry!
Mega Sports Camp - Begins this week
Mega Sports Camp begins this week! Registration will start at 6:45.
This year's Mega Sports Camp theme is The Great Comeback and it encourages kids to trust in God's ability to create great comebacks out of even the most desperate moments in their lives. Mega Sports Camp will run from Wednesday, July 14th through Wednesday, August 11th from 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm. We could use volunteers for all five weeks. However, if you can't make that commitmen, prayerfully consider helping out for at least one night. If you are interested, please sign up in the foyer and attend the volunteer meeting on Sunday, June 27th immediately following the morning service. Lunch will be served. if you have any questions, please see Jo Heminger or Cynthia Wilson.
Women's Meeting Prayer Gathering
On the 17th, from 10:00 am till 12:00 pm, the ladies will be gathering for a special time of prayer.
Creekside Cookout and Backpack Drive
The Creekside Cookout and Backpack Drive is quickly approaching! To make it a success, we need many volunteers for the following: Backpack Stuffers (the week before), Setup, Food Prep, Grilling< registration, Greeters, Backpack Distribution, and Clean up. If you are available to help with any of these positions, there will be a Volunteer Training Meeting next Sunday, July 18th following the morning service. Please make every effort to be a part of this meeting. Thank you!
Spiritual Praise & Wellness Walk
This month, our Spiritual Praise & Wellness Walk will be Saurday, July 24th at 9:00 am. We will be going to Avon's Washington Township Park. If you would like to join us for this refreshing time to spend in God's presence while enjoying the splendor of his creation, please sign up in the foyer.
Faith, Hope & Love Week
If you are interested in participating in the Faith, Hope & Love city outreach week, July 25th through 31st, please see the information table in the foyer.
The week will be kicked off with a special prayer gathering a Monument Circle on Sunday, July 25th at 3:00 pm.
Kid's Camp
Are you a Kid interested in going to camp? Well it's not too late to sign up. The kids will be going on week two (July 12-16) of Kid's Camp. The early-bird registration fee is $175, but scholarships and fundraisers will be available through the church. For more information on camp visit this link.
Meals and Ministry
Every Wednesday, at 6:00 pm, we will be offering meals to any one who is in need. Dinner will be served at 6:15 - 6:35. So come and enjoy our fellowship, good food, and ministry.
