mggentry@eaglecreekag.org

M. Gregory Gentry has served as the Senior Pastor of Eagle Creek Assembly of God since July, 2002. His previous ministry experience included pastoral ministry at Canton Calvary A/G, a work he pioneered in the Detroit area (13 years); administrative and support roles with U.S. urban missions in New Jersey/New York and Detroit (4 years), pastoral ministry at First A/G in Cocoa, Florida (3 years) and an evangelistic ministry for 4 years. Pastor Gentry has a Masters Degree in Theology following studies at Central Bible College, Southeastern College, and Christian Life School of Theology.

He has served as a district/state presbyter with the Assemblies of God in Michigan and Indiana, as well as having served on the boards of Central Bible College (Detroit Campus) and Central Indiana Teen Challenge.

Pastor Greg is married to his bride of 40 years, Vicky, and they have three grown children. He enjoys walking or biking with Vicky, as well as golf and playing piano.

In his own words, he has a pastor's heart which is committed to "empowering faith, family, and hope-filled futures" through a ministry that is founded on God's Word, the Bible, and well balanced in worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and missions.

  Rev. Tara D. Gentry
Associate Pastor
tdgentry@eaglecreekag.org

Rev. Tara Gentry serves Eagle Creek A/G as Associate Pastor having oversight of “Membership and Fellowship.” Tara officially joined the staff of ECAG in June of 2005. While her primary responsibility involves the oversight and development of our Freedom Groups, she also serves as an assistant worship leader, and assists with pastoral care.

Pastor Tara graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida with a B. S. in Church Ministry with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry and Christian Education. At Southeastern, she gained valuable ministry and leadership experience as a director of the Southeastern Worship Choir and as a Resident Assistant to upper-class women. Upon graduation, Pastor Tara moved to Indianapolis where she served in lay leadership at Eagle Creek Assembly of God through worship and teaching, as well as launching Remnant, the young adult’s ministry of ECAG. Prior to her staff position at ECAG, she served as a staff member with Central Indiana Teen Challenge for nearly two years where she has served as the student’s high school teacher, counselor, and drama director.

Her greatest passion is the love of her life, Jesus Christ, and her heart’s desire is to model a life of character and love for her Savior. She has found great joy in mentoring young women, leading worship, preaching, and instilling a passion in others for God, people, and our world. Pastor Tara’s life theme is echoed in the words of one of her great heroes of the faith, Jim Elliot: “I seek not a long life, but a full one like Yours, Lord Jesus. May my life be an exhibit to the value of knowing God.”

  Vicky Gentry

She coordinates the Sunday School (C.E.L.L. - Christian Education Life & Leadership), "Overdrive" Children's Church, and the mid-week "CHAMP's" program (Children Having A Mission & Purpose), the church library, and more.

Vicky is a gifted teacher in her own right, with expertise in teacher training and in the discovery of motivational gifts (Romans 12). She has effectively served in a variety of ministry positions for over 25 years as a pastor's wife, and has been called upon as a district seminar speaker and guest speaker for Women's Aglow and other Women's Ministries groups. She also enjoys directing, and occasionally acting, in Christian dramatic presentations.
